History

James H. Bell, Jr. (President and owner) has been surveying Louisa County and the surrounding areas for over four decades.

He began his career in 1962 as a Professional Land Surveyor and had expanded to Air by 1979. In 2000 he retired from land surveying while retaining his surveyors license and has made Aerial surveying his main focus.

Louisa Aerial Surveys is a very small business with five employees. Even though small we provide quality mapping services with the highest of standards to our over 250 clients.

Our employees have over 35 years combined experience in aerial photography, small and large scale topographic mapping, digital ortho photos and GPS ground control surveys.

We utilize the latest in technology and offer Airborne GPS and Lidar while continuing to stay up to date on all future technology by attending conferences, workshops and exhibits annually.
